![]() ![]() The problem is caused by the font packages: ttf-dejavu, ttf-liberation and ttf-ms-fonts AUR. Steam distributes a copy of libxcb which is incompatible with the latest xorg libxcb. It also describes a workaround that is untested in Dota 2. Apparently the game The Book of Unwritten Tales has the same problem. It is a known bug and they have no intention of fixing it, see the bug. This error is solved by installing pulseaudio-alsa. If you are using a nvidia graphics card, make sure you have enabled the DRM kernel mode setting. An error occured that wasn't supposed to. Install xorg-xrandr and run xrandr to find out the name of your connected display output. Here X and Y is 0, to move the window to the monitor on the right and H and W, is set to match the in-game resolution. If you are not on Gnome or dragging the window back and forth did not work you can try to install wmctrl and run this command, where X and Y is the offset of the window and H and W is the size. If on Gnome you can try to open the overview Super key and drag the game to the other monitor and back. If you have a secondary monitor you might have a part of your lower screen you cannot reach in menus. ![]() Then go back into fullscreen, the game should now be on the correct monitor.
